Animation

Here I will show some of my best animations. Both from some of the projects i've done and some I just did for practice.

Troodon

For our dinosaur project I got to animate on my own Troodon creation. It was alot of fun animating this little energetic raptor. I did some research on ostriches and magpies and came up with kind of a blend. They had to be animated teasing a huge Ankylosaurus, trying to steal its eggs. Eventhough the feathers were wrapdeformed to follow the body they still intersected with the basemesh and needed corrective animation. I've put up a runcycle and a short sequence from the original animation.

WarNot?

This is a dialog exercise i've done. By taking a soundclip and then act it out with a character. In this case i've used Hogan. The soundclip is from a commercial for Bullet Storm.

Penguin Zombie Animations - For Unity

This is some cycle i did for a mini game production on Dadiu. This is the enemy character in a 2.5D platform game. It has: Walk Cycle, Get Hit, Throw Egg and Death animations. The animations was done in around 3 hours as we were in a hurry :)
I also modelled and rigged the character.

Kadaver March Animations

For the Kadaver March project, I animated 2 shots and some zombie walk cycles. The first shot i did was the two main characters walking out of a gas station after resuplying. They walk out and get surprised by the army. The importance of this animation was to get the character to show through the animation.

The second shot I did, was the end shot af the trailer. Unfortunately something went wrong during the render process, so the render guys never got it finished for the deadline.
So i've put up a playblast of the missing shot, where the main characters are winded after running up the stairs of the mansion, and discovers a horde of zombies approaching. I animated the main characters, and did some td animation on all the zombie walkcycles.

Lamp with emotions

I did another exercise with a lamp, trying to add some emotions to it. Changing from one mood to another. This one was done in 4 hours:
